herbal anxiety

I am trying to wean off of Xanax, but have serious anxiety issues. I need something to get my Baseline down. I am open to herbal (very open), natural body suppliments (GABA) or if you HONESTLY know of some natural anti-anxiety products that actually work…I’ll listen. Thanks!!

If you are australian theres a brand called brauer homeopathic medicine that goes under the tongue u can buy from chemist. It’s pretty good.

I had experienced some anxiety recently due to excessive use of speed and marijuana and used this spray. I still used to feel anxious sometimes and I bought a hypnotherapy CD by Rick Collingwood called ‘fear and panic free.’ It’s fantastic. I feel different and never think about the stupid stuff i used to get worried about.

Life is too short to spend it worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet.

He has a website u can order from -. U listen to it 5 days a week for 6 weeks straight then once a week for 3 additional months

                Good luck!

I know vitamin B-complexes (used in the treatment of SADS), as well as melatonin (taken for jet lag and insomnia) and supplements rich in omega-3 oils such as flax seed and fish oil (which has been is used regularly in the treatment of clinical depressions).

I know bananas are said to be mood wonder food and are full of potassium plus other wonder vitamins…Herbal teas such as chamomile and peppermint are said to be calming and good as a sleep aid. Sleep is really important, so set bedtimes and wake up times are essential in maintaining good sleep hygiene. As is only using your bed for sleeping (and sex), so avoid watching TV, reading stimulating books or worst, working or studying from there.

Be careful of St. Johns Wart or Valerian if you are on antidepressants or mood stabilisers as these two are know to interfere with the medications’ efficiency and cause adverse reactions in some people…

I think in generally fresh food as a part of a balanced diet, pack full of as many vitamins as possible works. I also heard warm milk is good for calming down people and mixed with honey can help you sleep (something about trytophan?)…I also try to avoid too many sugary or caffienated foods and drinks because they seriously can affect my mood…

I like doing yoga a few times a week and walking four times a week for 45 minutes at a time at a medium to brisk pace, usually in the early morning or just before sunset, actually helps improve my mood stability overall. But it may take a few weeks to kick in.
