dizzyness, extreme fatigue, depression, and breast tenderness. I have been on yasmin 28 for years and recently switched to seasonique ( which is a 3 month treatment with menstrual cycles every 3 months.) But what is puzzling is the symptoms were occurring way before my switching the pills. Is there a possibility that i am going through menopause? What is wrong with my body>? Are there certain vitamins or herbals or even other meds that can cause these uncomfortable side effects or maybe some that might even help diminish them>?

I feel depressed a lot and I think I also may have anxiety issues. I don’t want to be medicated and on “drugs”..what are some good herbal supplements for anxiety and depression…? I have heard St. johns wort is good for depression.

I don’t feel like I asked this question properly but what I am looking for is some sort of vitamin or herb to take that will help me with my anxiety. I have tried exercising and cutting caffienne, sugar and smoking out of my lifestyle but it isn’t helping me. Does any one know of something that i can take and don’t need a prescription for to help me with my anxiety?

What were your symptoms? Did you choose HRT or herbals or do nothing and why? Also did you experience menopause migraines and how did you treat them? Did you have migraines prior to menopause? How long does this last?

I also have some pain just below my left rib cage for over 3 years. Nothing has been detected so far, should i go for a CAT scan. Since there are a lot of mechanisms going into an erection, I guess whether this pain below my left rib cage contributes in some measure to ED. I am 33 years old, was highly sexually strung until about 28/29. There has been an instance of chronic fatigue in my life (emotional side mainly) and some years of marginal malnutrition 6-7 years back. Lifestyle is optimal now in all aspects, but i have to perk myself up to get an erection, which usually does not last beyond 15-30 seconds and as a result i cannot complete intercourse. I need suggestions, which will help me get erect effortlessly. What should i do with myself to be the best that i can be. I am presently taking Tentex Royal capsules of Himalaya herbals. There is some improvement in overall health but the pain below the left rib cage is constantly bugging me. Please help!!!

I answered you & chose my reply as best answer but you’d asked what herbs I’m using for these symptoms. But the way this answer place is, I couldnt find any other way to reply except this way, so hoefully you’ll read this.

The herbs I use are these:

black cohosh (root), 540mg, 1 capsule 3 times a day.
dong quai (root), 565mg., 2 capsules 3 times a day.

Unfortunately, it’s been my experience if you try to get these strengths at the big food stores that don’t specialize in organics & herbal supplements, the strengths are very low- 40mg only and not effective because of this. There are lots of places that sell these (& others) like Wild Oats Market (here in Denver) & Vitamin Cottage & others. The website for this brand I use “Natures Way” has a list of stores at:
